Holding Kashmir

As India escalates its violence towards Pakistan and occupied Kashmir, we’re creating space to be in community together this Sunday.

Join us to grieve, to honour, and to hold each other, as we centre Kashmir and the role anti-Muslim violence plays in global oppression.

This is a space for Muslims, friends and our South Asian siblings to process, mourn, pray, or to just safely be together.

Bring anything you need: snacks, tea, poetry, some words or duas.

Sudani Chosen Family Iftar

MSJI Presents: A Sudanese Iftar – Celebrating Our Chosen Family

This Ramadan, join The Muslim Social Justice Initiative (MSJI) for a warm and intimate Sudanese iftar, celebrating the bonds of our chosen family. Kids welcome!

The event will be a potluck, so please bring your favourite Sudanese dishes, drinks and desserts to share, filling the space with the familiar tastes of home.

This iftar is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space honouring our Sudanese community in all its diversity. Let's share stories, laughter, and a beautiful meal as we celebrate the family we choose.
