Part cookbook, part political act, The Sudanese Kitchen is a love letter to Sudanese food, communities, and memory in the face of displacement, erasure, and war.

Supported by Almas Art Foundation, this event will include a conversation with Omer about the inspiration behind the book, the process of documenting recipes across Sudanese regions and diasporas, and the role of food in resistance and remembrance.
