Introducing MSJI Film Club 📽️: a social cinema club, screening beautiful films from the Muslim world 🎞️🍿

We’re incredibly excited to invite you to an exclusive screening of ISH, the award-winning debut feature from British artist and filmmaker Imran Perretta.

‘Set in Luton, the film follows 12-year-old best friends Ish and Maram as they navigate the joys and complexities of growing up. When a police stop-and-search threatens to tear their friendship apart, the boys are forced to confront the realities of a world that refuses to see them simply as children.’

Doors open at 18:30 with somosas and light movie snacks for a 19:00 screening. There will be time to discuss the film in community afterwards.

This screening is supported by Film Hub North with National Lottery funding on behalf of the BFI Film Audience Network.
